Meet The Doctor

Dr. Joe

Giuseppe Giovatto Jr, DC, DACBSP®, CSCS

Dr. Joe has been practicing Chiropractic since 2001. He has completed certifications to become a Sports Physician (C.C.S.P.®) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Physicians (D.A.C.B.S.P.®) and held sports team doctor roles in NJ. He obtained his Bachelors of Science Degree between the schools of William Paterson Univeristy and Montclair State University in Northern NJ. Following his university studies, he received his Doctorate Degree in Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College. Dr. Joe has experience in the sports arena having played soccer for most of his life. Following high school where he was an all-area, all-county and all-state athlete, he had the opportunity to play semi-professional soccer in Northern NJ and play against many professionals in his soccer career. In 2004, Dr. Joe had his wish come true, to play soccer in Italy alongside many professionals. At one point, his brother and himself had the opportunity to play professionally in Puerto Rico, however he declined and instead matriculated himself into chiropracitc school in upstate NY. As a previous athlete, Dr. Joe possesses true and firsthand knowledge of sports injuries and the mechanics of sports. The certifications that Dr. Joe has attained (e.g. Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians, Active Release Techniques Full Body, Ironman Provider Network, Graston Techniques and Kinesio Taping) allows his office to stand out as a premier sports injuries center to get you back in the game sooner. At this time, Dr. Joe has also completed additional studies to obtain his Biomechanics and Master's certifications in Active Release Techniques. Dr. Joe donates his free time and services to local and outside community sponsored sporting events such as 5K's, sprint distance triathlons, olympic distance triathlons (St. Anthony's Triathlon) and Ironman Triathlons (Kona, Hawaii, Panama City Beach, FL). Another noteable feat since his graduation, Dr. Joe has been able to see over 100,000 visits between offices in FL, NY and NJ. We have experience in treating anywhere from your weekend warrior athletes, elite/semi professional, professional and olympic athletes.
